a delta goodrem mistakn identity album review
Just to start, how on earth didn't this album do better than #25?
i have the original version (UK) and The DVD Version, cos i thought so highly that i had to buy both. This is probably the best album i have ever listened to, it even tops innocent eyes (Which i didn't think could be done) now a rundown of the tracks
1.out of the blue
good song to open with, but definetly one of the weakest tracks on the album 10/10
2.The analyst
hated this song at first, i thought oh my god delta what have you done, but then by the chorus i loved it, a brilliant track 10/10
3.Mistaken identity
The most autobiographical song on the album, very snazzy and tuneful love it! 10/10
4.sanctuary
really like this song, not the strongest on the labum though 9/10
5.a little too late
reminds me much of throw it away from 'innocent eyes' but not a good. 9/10
6.be strong
very moving song, deltas beautiful voice hits all the right notes 9/10
7.last night on earth
Beautiful, beautiful song, love it second best on the album, makes the hairs on my arms stand up 11/10
8.almost here
not bad, but not great, she shouldn't release it as a single though 8/10
9.miscommunication
very far removed from anything miss goodrem has done before, after a few listens it grows on you 9/10
10.Electric storm
the best song i have ever heard! even better (only just) than 'Predictable' amazing song, with so many surprise key changes, love it, beautiful 11/10
11.Extraordinary day
about the day delta was digonosed with cancer, really like this song, very touching 10/10
12. fragile
just delta and the piano, this albums 'will you fall for me' but better. beautiful crafted and just like the title, the song seems to be very fragile. 10/10
13.Disorientated
in my opinion a very disorientated song! but i love it, and i really like the speaking 10/10
14.you are my rock
really nice song to end on, in a way to say thank you to everyone listening 10/10
