Why spend your Sunday having fun and relaxing when you could help me with my physics work?

A ray of light is incident on the plane surface of a transparent material at such an angle that the reflected and refracted rays are at right angles to each other. Draw a diagram to illustrate this.

Does that mean moving out af a transparent material into air, or from air to a transparent material, or neither? I'm a bit confused. Help me, please.

I'd assume you'd draw a ray of light being reflected at the same ange from the normal it hit the item at. The refracted ray will the be at 90 degrees to the relected ray, just going through the object?

You draw the incident light coming in from the left towards the normal, hits the material and is refracted out at 90 degrees upwards to the right of the normal.

A slighly wider than V shape basically.

Yes, but you have to show the reflected and refracted rays at right angles. At what angle would the light have to hit the material for this to occur?

Surely you're drawing the light hitting the material, with some reflecting off and some refracting through it.
