I heard/saw people ranting and raving about them being amazing and omfg the best thing ever.
But they're not.
I got the terribly named album, and the only two good songs are that Cicatriz one, which even then is spoiled by them shoving in 3 odd minutes of nothingness in the middle, and the Roulette one.
But that's it. The rest suck balls to be honest.
They've got potential, yes, without a doubt - but from what I've heard so far, they're nothing extraordinary like some people seem to be saying.
Oh, and what the hell's up with the whole naming of their songs and the album?
Terrible.

And the album is based around some artist guy they knew who died or something.

Bixler and Rodriguez were writing Napoleon Solo when you were in your CRIB.
I love them.
It's basically the journey of a guy in a coma - from the crazy dreams to the end, where he wakes up ('Who brought me here').
Etc.
Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt pwns you all.
You've failed to convince me on the rest, Cyc.
What a failure.
You don't like MV, but you love Elliott.
Ask me again in a few days.
Hmmm ....
Anywho, yes, I do love Elliott above all else.
Heart-wrenching stuff.
Did you say you hadn't got Texas is the Reason?
They've only got 1 album - got it t'other day. Some fantastically beautiful guitar music on there - although the guy's voice is a little annoying. He sounds like he should be in some failed 13-year-old's grunge band.
Argh. But the music is beautiful - so get it anyway.
Truth.
Elliott beat all other bands except the Pumpkins.
I have no TISR.....so possibly..........hmmm....
I just listened to it through again - was happy when the CD changer skipped round to Elliott.
Just the title track is very nice. And he doesn't sing in it, which is a bonus. The quieter stuff is better, because the guitars blend together - simple but gorgeous riffs.
