The gamecube will be in shops all over Japan in July (not long for them) and will be in the US in a new date around mid November from October and we still have the SPRING 2002 date. THe delays are because old Shigsy needs time to finish up on one of the GC's launch games.
The gamecube has been said by Nintendo that the machine will be around the lowest next gen consoles on the market so it could go as low as 199-£200 pounds in the shops which is by far better than the XBOX's (rumoured £400)!
Also instead of now having five new colours for the GC there is now only one which is the original colour the purple style which is good enough for me anyway!
The release of the GBA will be able to work with the later release of the GC AS a GBA link up into the controller port. It will act as an extra controller. Speaing of controllers a few people were talking about comfy controllers and which had the best, and lots of people, said that Nintendo 64 and PSX/PS2 had the best and everyone seemed to think that the XBOX and the DC had the worst looking and feeling pad (for some unknown reson) and nintendo claim that they have invented the most intuitive pad which will be the GC pad although it looks a bit odd with two sticks sticking out of the side of the handles. The GC will also have an cordless option, that can go up to two or three metres I think. But nothing has been confirmed!
I saw on a website recently about expansion paks. The god damn machine hasn't even come out yet so wots the point is what I think, and they should of just made it with the expansion pak anyways. Weel what it does is that it increases the original amount of ram from 16MB to 48MB (thats a f****n lot) this will improve the sound and the visuals in the gaming. The graphics and sound are outstanding anyway and I didn't think it could be made better in this day and age!
The games: There is about 12 launch games that have been said and confirmed and plenty more to come. Rare are also looking into a new Conker game, I think it was called Conker's other Bad Day. And sega and Nintendo have joined up to create the ultimate RPG (great news for dedicated RPGers even me) and they have said to expect lots more titles.
All this is from what I know, info I have read on FOG, websites that I have read about!
