I really don’t know why, but here’s a quick post on Faithless seeing as the latest song ‘We Come One’ has just been on television! I really think they have a great talent, and although I don’t know the ins and outs of the group, I feel they have a really unique sound and a superb dance style reputation.
I remember watching God is a DJ on something, and that song was very good indeed – one of their best, and I really should get one of their albums! Drifting Away is brilliant, Insomnia is a classic – creating a really impressive sound style, and the latest song is also very good, although my favourite is most probably Insomnia. Thought provoking lyrics – not groundbreaking, but certainly worth listening to again and again! Insomnia is about not being able to sleep – naturally, and the rest, I don’t have a clue really.
Faithless as a name may imply that they have no faith, it doesn’t matter to me if they do or not – I have faith in them creating some really good quality music from the 20th and for this 21st century! They put other dance artists to shame, and deserve more recognition. This has been a really shortpost, I know, and I apologise if it hasn’t been as useful as possible, I’ll have to get the CD and tell you all about it!
