Yo, I've got a pretty decent laptop (P4 2.66GHz, 512 RAM, GeforceFX5200 64Mb graphics), but I don't think it's going to run Half Life 2 that well. So what should I be upgrading, and how? I'm pretty sure the graphics card is almost redundant, and the ram could go up a bit. How do you put in laptop stuff?

Mmmmm

It has upgradeable graphics by the way. As does the new model by Rock Direct, which is a Radeon X800T (laptop model); but they employ different standards, ATI using AXIOM and nVIDIA using MXM. Both are PCI Express though.

Usually its just a case of taking up the keyboard or undoing a few screws on the back. Its dead easy stuff, though upgrades are usually limited depending on laptop model. For example I could change the RAM, hard drive, processor and wireless card if i desired.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Thanks!
Thank you for dealing with this so promptly it's nice having a service provider that offers a good service, rare to find nowadays.
