Does anyone know what system your need to run San andreas. If my Pc won't take it, i'll have to pin all my hopes on a Xbox release. Any idea when thats happening?

The memory of the graphics card does not give an accurate estimation as to how well it performs. Since there are 128mb cards on the market that can beat 265mb cards.

Since SA is a PS2 port it's hardly going to need a half life 2 rig to play it.
I'd shove another 256mb ram stick in there just to be sure, and if you could reply with the exact model of your card it will be a lot of help.

And as long as there is enough ram and the graphics card is fairly decent, the 1.67ghz should cope with it fine.

What speed is your RAM? I'm guessing it's PC2100.

The same time the PC version comes out. If the Official site doesn't have any PC specs, it's impossible to say at this time.
