I think its about time we started something about the pollution to the enviroment caused by car pollution.

There are LOADS of figures about the pollution caused by the use of fossil fuels including petrol and diesil etc, which Im not going to find ..cos I have a feeling someone else will for me.

PRETTY PLEASE??

anyway what Ive heard is because of the use of fossil fuels global temperatures are gonna rise, the ice caps are melting and we just might loose amsterdam in a few hundred years. Also, on top of the greenhouse effect its making a hole in the ozone layer the size of grannys briefs, which is increasing the risk of skin cancer. yikes. And at this stage there isnt a lot we can do about.

UNTILL NOW. Act now for this amazing offer to SAVE AMSTERDAM! Send £3.50 (cash only) to Fozz (enter dodgy address here) Petes strip Club, Soho to fund moving Amsterdam to Everest!

Or not. Everyone is like "oohh ..nooo..its too late! Its gonna contiue for another 40 years cos we used fossil fuels!...." Fossil FOOLS!. That hasnt stopped ANYONE using fossil fuels at ALL! Its RETARDED. It doesnt bother anyone that its STILL a problem. everyones given up. I know there is the kyoto protocol (which the US so galliantly refused to sign) and clean energy initiatives by the government and stuff like that but what Im talking about is the pollution caused by car engines.

There are several alernatives to using pertol/deisel.

1) Use gas. MUCH cheaper, cleaner and even available in the middle of nowhere in Ireland!

2) Cycle, healthy, uuhh. healthy. Cheap!

3) Go back to horse powered flight (flight??...waiiit. ..it just might work)

4) Use and engine powered by vegebale oil. (whats that I hear you say? you want to lynch me? well all this can be yours for the low low price of 5 years in jail!

YES Its illegal to use vegetable oil in your engine. Even though its dirt cheap, REALLY enviromentally friendly, and completely renewable, the government doesnt want us using it. hhm. cant think why? (points suspicious finger at the middle east (wait..I have a suspicious finger??)) Some people still use it and good for them but I think its time we stopped taking the goverments CRAPE. I really reccommend contacting MPs about this issue, and should it come to it, voting for the green party. YES I know it would mean the entire government would be on a 4 year acid trip, but at least we'd get some enviromental stuff done.

A few years ago I contacted the Irish government about it (I was in Ireland at the time) and they said there was some EU directive against it (.....good old EU) however the UK is one of the few countries in europe not giving in to the one ring...I mean...currency. hey..I wonder how the Euro compares to LOTR. interesting. anyway. This is something RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES. It would save you MILLIONS. well. maybe not millions. How much is an average weeks fuel bill? about £40? Vegetable oil could easily be about £10 for that amount, or even less. 30 x 52 is (counts fingers) £1560. Thats not counting the costs of electricity, transport, manufacturing etc going down.

Stupidity or what?

oh, ok. that must be a recent thing, maybe its still illegal in ireland. It used to be illegal. Well, Im glad its available and also hydrogen fuel. heh. thats great news.

I had to write a short technical description of the Magrail from some crappy diagram about a month ago. it looks pretty cool.

By day, I am forum poster, Fozz, by night enter the terrifying persona of.....(drumroll) HEMP MAN! ECO WARRIOR!

HYDROGEN FUEL

It's still being developed, although several buses in London, and a car named the "Dolphin" have managed to use it safely.
All it requires is wter.

Since when did you become an eco warrior?

And where did you hear that it was illegal to use vegatable oil as fuel? You can get a diesel engine converted by specialists to accomodate vegetable oil. It's advertised at the Cinema's for christs sake, I'm guessing you are considering that people who blindly shove vegetable oil into their standard diesel engines is illegal?

EDIT: Just spoken to a friend of mine who is pretty clued up on this stuff, he states that it is only illegal when you don't tell the authority's that you are using vegatable oil, you must tell them so they can tax you on it.
