A foul was given when someone went for a dunk, and they started fighting, and when the fight was calmed down, one of the Pacers was lying on teh bench afterward, contemplating or something.
All of a sudden, some sort of drink flew down from teh crowd and hit him, and he jumped up and started punching the guy, upon which a massive melee occured.
It was hilarious.
They said they might show it again tonight for the Monday night football game, it's certainly worth watching - there were chairs flying about and everything.
Think in the past there have been behind closed doors games but not too sure on that. Sure i remember at least one
And A - I knew the seasons were long, but no idea how long
and B - I've no idea how many games into the season tehy are.
They could be 4 games in, the could be 40 games in for all I know.
Video.
Quality footage, plus I feel sorry for that fat Detroit fan who got absolutely smashed in the face by this 6'10" guy sprinting right at him. Ah well, shouldn't have been on the godamn court in the first place, should he?
Unnecessary for the players to attack the fans, but unnecessary for the fans to be throwing beer and stuff about the plavce anyway. Do they have the "behind closed doors" rule in basketball, because I think Detroit should definitely be punished in some way, and it seems that would probably be the best thing to do.
There's a list of all of the suspensions.
30 games is a bit harsh though.
I just hope that the fans get something too.
They were unacceptable.
"Players shouldn't attack fans"
Fans shouldn't attack players!
If they all did that, then there'd be no game left.
Damn fans.
Artest out for season
Jackson for 30 games
O'Neal for 25 games
Their season will be long over by the time Jermaine gets back.
