Is there any piece of software that I can use to create images of DVD's on my hard-drive, preferaly without needing a DVD-RW. I thought I would be able to do this with Nero, but it's being a b***h. The reason for this is because the PC i intend to run HL2 on doesnt have a DVD-drive, so I intended to create the Disc image and run it in a virtual drive on that PC, by dropping it onto it via the PC networked to it. Thanks for any advice...

Ok, finally managed to get Nero to make the disk image, and registered with steam, updated HL etc, so thats all good. But I get an error with the Drive Emulator i'm using. Can anyone recommend another?
Can't Alcohol 120% do this? It's no longer officially available though, so you'll have to acquire it.
