Quite often you feel the entire nation is being babysitted by a bunch of over paid brainiacs playing god with society, trying to create utopia in their own personal distorted visions of perfection.
But with smoking I have to agree. I smoke way too much than I need to (that being that I smoke full stop), if they ban the white sticks in the UK, I'll be more than happy. Bring it on.
But you have to wonder just who is getting paid to advise the rest of us on how we should live. Someone somewhere has way too much power.

That works both way, from a religeous view in some cases living without any rules like that could be playing god, especially when it comes to topics such as cloning and stem cell research.

I mean, who really pays attention to these adverts?
I don't mind people trying to explain what worked for them and what's made their life good, but they can't expect it to be everyone elses cup of tea. Personally, I haven't had ONE person try and tell me how to be for AGES. Infact the closest recently was when a girl talked me into using shampoo and shower gel, and even then I only did it if she'd give up smoking! :-)
