What have I done to deserve this? My Mikey, leaving on practically a free. Djibril Cisse, starting to look awesome and even faster than Henry or a younger Giggsy, breaking his leg at the hated Ewood (I blame Tugay, he looks shifty), and now Milan, another of my favourites, whose name adorns my shirt, has injured himself. Again. Just after he won me 17 points on Fantasy Football.

I despair sometimes. I would hope Morientes comes, because Fernando is a world-class striker and it'd be good to get someone who can head the ball to a Riise cross, but I know he'll end up being destroyed by a dirty Keane tackle or his plane will crash on the way over.

I would say at least we're not Tottenham, but even that fails to comfort me.

Even Kewell hasn't died yet. Nothing's going right.

We miss you Mikey. That is all.

Don't make me sick. I'm playing Liverpool on Football Manager 2005 at the moment, and I've managed to flog him to Man Utd for 9 million :) Even better was Biscan + Hamann to Villa for 5 mil, or Diao to West Brom for a mil, or maybe even Diouf to Bolton full-time for 3 mill. This was before I became aware of his dirty spitting of course.

Liverpool have no transfer budget, it's annoying. I had to sell Alonso to raise the cash to bring in SWP and Kapo to menace on the flanks. I only bought Kapo because he's one of Cisse's favoured personnel, heh.

And best deal ever? Zola for free. Just for one season, he bangs in every free kick and scores a few from free play. Excellent.

Err...so, in conclusion, Kewell sucks.

Eh? I think he was playing pretty well. Finishing a hatrick in front of the Kop - well done, my Baros.

Harry Kewell owns. I'm proud to have his name on my shirt.

This will give him, Pongolle and Mellor a chance to prove what they're made of...it still sucks though.

He has scored 10 so far this season, about 1 every 2 games. And whilst I don't think he'll ever recapture his Euro 2004 form, he has been playing pretty well I think.

And now, Pongolle will be starting ahahahaha!

I wonder how fast it'd take Kirkland to get injured if he went up front for us...

....but, as they say, one man's misfortune is another man's fortune; Mellor looked able against 'Boro at Anfield, and they fielded a strong side. I'd like to see him get a decent run in the team now, and hopefully try and cement any sort of hope Benitez has for picking him in future league games.

Owen seems to be finding form too, obviously not for England, that would be asking wayyyy too much.

Bit of a b!tch for you, I almost gave Stuey pity earlier, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Baros has been looking a shade of his Euro 2004 self recently, proving that all he needed was a chance. Would almost like to see him return to golscoring form when he returns.
