Hi. I need some help.

First of all, I'm looking for any kind of cause as to why I'd be recieving totally BLANK e-mails from certain addresses (and, wouldn't you know it, they often happen to be important ones, too).

It's an MSN Hotmail account that I use, or would this have something to do with the settings on my internet browser?

The title's there, I can see who sent it, but there's no message whatsoever - not even a picture saying "BUY THIS!!2!1!" or the usual smallprint.

---

And secondly:

I have a flat-screen monitor with speakers on the side. This is where the sound seems to come from with whatever I do.

On the PC itself, there is a slot for headphones and a microphone on the front - yet, I've tried connecting them, but I get no sound.
I've also tried connecting our old (TiNY) speakers round the back, but still nothing.

The package came without speakers, and the guy who set it all up legged it with the instructions and ALL packaging once the job was done.

As you may have gathered, I'm more than plain 'sick' of that still-inside-the-box sound I get from the monitor's output, as nice as the visuals are. I'm looking for a way of getting the sound back out the traditional way, if anyone can give me any help whatsoever...

Thanks for reading, hope you can help. :)

Ive been getting blank emails too, but after viewing them in firefox instead of IE i could read the content. The sound port on the front of your case usually has to be connected up to the relevent port on the motherboard to work, have a look on the back of the computer for the main sound jack and plug your headphones/whatever into that.
