After the filler title of Contracts last year, this game's set to be the true sequel to Silent Assassin that all Hitman fans have been waiting for.
The game's set to totally upgrade the glacier engine adding in normal map and a massively improved physics. This will add real weight to the previously bouncy ragdoll physics and also make the enviroments even more interactive than previous installments.
Also IO are implementing a money system which will enable you to buy guns and ammo before you go into a mission which should definetly add to the replay value.
I'm possitively sh*tting myself (if that's possible) in anticipation for this game. Hitman 2 for me still remains one of the best games of this generation and also one of my favourite games of all time.
So far a single screenshot has been released in which 47 seems to be killing Santa Claus on a level that apparently has you assassinating a Porn King at an Xmas Party in the Rocky Mountains.

My most wanted game of 2005 is Mercenaries. I've seen some screenshots of Hitman though, and it does look quite impressive.
I'm pretty excited about this to. I didn't bother with contracts but hitman 2 was fantastic. I love the careful planning you have to put in whilst playing. IMO it's a better stealth game than sc. I love costume changing and all that. Also the fact that you can sneak around, which is more rewarding, or just go all guns blazing.

Actually looks pretty cool, especially some of the concept art on that website. Contracts had some really great new (and old) levels, as well as a lot of cool new weapons & animations, so if they can build on that as well as adding revamped Doom 3 like graphics, it should be classy.
