Now, is it just me who remembers last season when Rio Ferdinand got an eight month ban? For not taking drugs, simply for missing a test.

Ugh.

Now, me, being a United fan, wouldn't mind having Mutu on the pay-roll, but you know. Just to say.

Also, not that anyone really cares, he's on the verge of signing a new contract with Juventus.

And, to say my point again, if they had given him more than Rio players would just skip tests 'by mistake' as they would get less punishment for that then for taking the drugs. That way their lucrative sponsorships wouldn't be terminated either (like Mutu's with adidas).

Also, recreational drugs would give him no advantage and possibly a disadvantage to other players.

And this is only like the 4th thread about his "little" ban, when really - public humiliation is what will end him.... (N.B. he'll probably come back a genius player and score 4 against us at the bridge)
