We have already seen on the FOG forum Films and Televisions to games al the time, but correct me if I'm wrong we havent seen much Books, and Comic strips to games or films!
What would you change into a top selling game: For an RPG I would put either Northern Lights or The subtle Knife!
And as a comedy platformer (CBFD) I would have Calvin and Hobbes!

I think it would be great if Miyamoto employed someone (preferable English speaking) to write stories about 'The Legends of Zelda'
How about Discworld. That would make a great game...

As for Pulmans Dark Matter trilogy... I'm not sure if it would work. it might be better as a strategy game.

Books about games? well, wouldn't these be like walkthroughs? there are so many sequels about. Plus there have been many true life stories put onto books then onto game, to back this up I have one item: Rainbow 6, shoddy game, nice book, good cakes.
Comic games already exist any one remember Comic Zone on the Megadrive? Turok is a comic and so is Shadowman. Books can be a little in depth for games but come to think of it a game based on a book would save developers making some of those bad storylines we sometimes see.

Mixed together with good gameplay and great graphics games based on books could be some of the greatest games ever. I could go on forever what a good idea. We could even have games based on relationships in fact Adon is trying to bring the second Turok back after falling in love with him.
Wow games could really be as good as films in the realism and depth stakes. This could be the future of gaming.

The wicked book series Animorps was gonna be made into 2 games, but they appear to have disappeared off the face of the Earth.
