Three years ago I broke my scaphoid bone in my right wrist during a prank that went wrong. It was only a crack, mind, so it was only in plaster for three weeks.

Around eight or nine months ago I broke my scaphoid bone in my right wrist in a bad fall. I had it Xrayed, and the incompetent swine of the hospital said it was merely sprained and put it in a flimsy splint.

It never healed. I had to have physiotherapy and was in pain for a long time.

On the 16th of September of this year, I broke my scaphoid bone in my right wrist in yet another bad fall. It broke right in half and has been incarcerated in plaster ever since. Now on this Thursday, they will operate.

I am going to need a screw that goes right through my hand to the other side. I am even going to have to have a bone graft, using another bone in my arm to help it heal. If it doesn't heal, they will have to remove the entire bone and replace it with metal as it will die and become unable to function.

I wouldn't need this horrible procedure if the second breaking had been spotted properly. Their clinical neglegence will see them in court and me with a possibly-permanent injury forever.

Oh, and panto's coming up!

When I was young I tried to shave, as I'd seen my dad do it many times.

Needless to say, I looked like a mummy when i went to school that morning.

No, you wouldn't need this horrible procedure if you didn't keep falling over!

Nothing wrong with me. Had to go in hospital after I was born because I kept throwing up apparently but I was fine after a day.

Erm, got hairline fracture in arm once when I ran into a wall in P.E.
Actually I ran into a horizontal bar on a building thing around the P.E block that day too.

Brother broke his collar bone, it's horrible, got a big pointy thing out his neck.

I snapped my right arm in half an inch above the wrist about 5 years ago, had to wait 4 days for surgery to straighten it and they still fu**ed it up, it's slightly twisted and bent which doesn't help as i have some strange problem with my joints anyway and i can't lift anything that strains the wrist, made my landscaping job fun :(
I know if i broke it again i'd be stuffed but it only causes me problems occassionally.
Good luck with your legal stuff and getting your arm fixed.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Thanks!
Thank you for dealing with this so promptly it's nice having a service provider that offers a good service, rare to find nowadays.
