And it's pretty damn good.

Shame the 'recommended' Counter-Strike setup is balls. Still, not doing too bad with it. Once I've got fully used to it I shall get back to my old pwning ways...

On another note, the MX1000 is dreamy. You can even hover it over the surface and it'll still track accurately! It really will track on anything. top stuff!

couldn't agree more. You can jus**t chuck the keyset in, clip it in and it'll s**till work. Not picky at all. Obviously you should take care, but it doesn't throw a pissy little fit if the keys aren't 100% aligned.

Nice idea, but I can't see the point in the extra keysets really. Sure they have a little design on them, but you can download the configuration anyway. I doubt I'll be buying any of them - the s**tandard one works jus**t fine.

Some keyboards are completely anal to use though and having never used one before buying it I was slightly dubious as to how it would feel when typing. It works really well though and the clipping in and out of the new layouts isn't as novelty as it looks and it picks up all the keys without f**ing about with how the keys sit on the pads.

They are planning on bringing a sh*t load of new layouts out this year as well, as soon as they get around to doing a Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike one I will be there.

Yup, got the update straight away, although I can't see much difference (perhaps that's because I hadn't used it enough before the update to know!)

Chippxero, I'd recommend it. It's not revolutionary and probably won't make you a gaming God, but it does make it a hell of a lot easier since the issue of accidentally mashing adjacent keys is out of the window :D

Excellent Keyboard. Scrap the recommended setup though. Also grab the downloadable update from the net.

The gaming layout makes it far far easier to use W - A - S - D for character movement.

I looked at getting a z-board would you say it's really worth getting? i use a compact small keyboard at the moment giving me all the keys easily with one hand.
