I've got to say I'm disappointed. Figure 8 is still one of my favourite albums, but these two pretty much sucked. How many more dreary songs can you write about soldiers going to war? Is he a time-traveller from the 1800's? F8 had some bright, pop/rock tunes, and came inbetween these albums, yet is massively different. Apparently From A Basement on the Hill was his suicide note.
