I had a small problem whilst reconnecting the floppy drive which I disconnected so I could save power. Anyway I had trouble closing the case and eventually I got it to close (stupidly designed case).
I had a problem with my PC booting due to my PCI fan card which is split from the floppy drive power connector that did not work because it was not turned on in the bios (it took a few cold boots etc to work it out) so it obviously didn't get any power and the PC didn't like it.
Whilst replugging the floppy drive power connector I noticed 2 resistors near the power supply connector which was plugged into the motherboard looking bent but NOT BROKEN, anyway I decided to move the resistors back into a straight position on the motherboard.

Everything seems okay my PC is working and my floppy drive is up and running, but I fear I may have problems due to the strange way the resistors were bent.

As long as the resistor doesnt end up parallel to the board then i dont worry, if it falls off you can just solder it back on anyway.

Bending metal actually strengthens it. Interesting fact there.

Slated right slightly but it's back in a straight position now and not broken luckily, it would of fallen off by now if it was and the PC wouldn't of worked I guess.
Hopefully I'm okay to use this PC still, it was meant to be a simple job but thanks to this bloody crappy case I had to move the wires a dozen times so it would close properly!
Not sure if it was meant to be bent cos I never went near it but might of nudged it slightly whilst checking if the motherboard power plug was in.

Ive knocked few resisters myself and everything has still been ok. What angle were they at in relation to the motherboard?
