I had a problem with my PC booting due to my PCI fan card which is split from the floppy drive power connector that did not work because it was not turned on in the bios (it took a few cold boots etc to work it out) so it obviously didn't get any power and the PC didn't like it.
Whilst replugging the floppy drive power connector I noticed 2 resistors near the power supply connector which was plugged into the motherboard looking bent but NOT BROKEN, anyway I decided to move the resistors back into a straight position on the motherboard.
Everything seems okay my PC is working and my floppy drive is up and running, but I fear I may have problems due to the strange way the resistors were bent.
Hopefully I'm okay to use this PC still, it was meant to be a simple job but thanks to this bloody crappy case I had to move the wires a dozen times so it would close properly!
Not sure if it was meant to be bent cos I never went near it but might of nudged it slightly whilst checking if the motherboard power plug was in.
