Dear Student
Are you male, between 18 and 24 years old and in good health. I am
looking for volunteers to participate in a research study investigating
the parameters of the muscle-bone unit in young adult males. This will
take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes of your time and will involve a
number of scans (which will be done in Clinical Radiology in the
Stopford Building) and some other physiological measurements. If you
would like to help please contact me (by telephone or email) for more
information and a screening questionnaire. I would be most grateful.
Any travel expenses associated with attending the department for
scanning etc. will be reimbursed. This study has been reviewed and
approved by the North West Multi-centre Research Ethics Committee (MREC
- study number 04/8/006).
