This year I've got great teachers. My philosophy teacher's really entertaining. He seems to go to so many hardcore porn plays and does spent time explaining them. And I'll prob go to the pub with another teacher on Tuesday. And my old computing teacher was really cool and always had original sarcastic comments for me. But some teachers are just evil and difficult. And then there are the stupid ones.

Teachers at my school are awesome, it's obvious they spend a lot of time preparing the lessons and when you get into sixth form you talk to them in pretty much the same way you talk to your friends.

Not to mention the fact that they're only paid for the hours they spend teaching (ie. 9.00 - 15.30).
They offer to help after classes to people who didn't understand the work, they have to make the effort to mark coursework, tests, and prepare work at the same time, on top of having to deal with 20 or so mongtards.

And they get £13 an hour
Huge holidays, much of which is spent doing work (excluding summer, where they actually get some time to relax).

They make £13 an hour, yes, but it only ends up at about 20k per year.
Considering a train driver or binman can get 30-40k a year, you must agree that 20k is pittance.

I agree that only a few are morons... and it's them who complain all the damn time and attack teachers and fellow pupils for no reason at all...and true some teachers are lazy good for nothings...but only a very small percentage.

You try teaching in an enviroment where you can be attacked by a pupil with a knife...but sacked it you hurt the pupil whilst defending yourself.

Only a select few are 'morons' and if you're a very good teacher you can have the privilege of teaching at a nice school with pupils that are more likely to work hard. Though I would say that there are a few teachers out there that don't care about what they're doing.

My aunt happens to be a teacher...she cares...so do her colleges...but
their job is thankless...the kids don't want to listen or learn. She
has been attacked before now simply for telling some chav that he
needed to redo a piece of coursework because the spelling was
awful...one teacher in her school was slashed with a Stanley knife for
telling the kid to hand the knife over!!! Why the hell was he carrying
a Stanley knife to school?

They do not "clock watch"...they don't go home at 3.30pm like the
kids...she has to stay until 8-9pm some nights preparing the next days
work and attending meetings...she has to spend her evenings marking
papers...and then has to be in at 7am the next morning to try and
teach something to the morons.

So forgive me for hating idiots who complain that they are boring and
earn too much....the work hard for their wages...far harder than most.
