Having looked around at many DVD sites, (including the one WM recommended) I have put down Pitch Black as my claimed DVD. So, I`m trusting in the Wookiee that it`ll be good :-)

Could be right! Jaws is the same, you have to download them onto PC.

Not too sure about TV's, but isn't screen burn a thing of the past, i.e. green screens.

I seem to remember modern monitors being guaranteed for somthing like 60 or 70 thousand hours.

I went and got the disc replaced today, and it works fine. You`re absolutely right about the screen saver though, its just for downloading onto PC.

The 18 certificate doesn`t seem to be justified now that I have seen the episodes, though there was a bit where B`Sogg lost his hand that might have been the cause.

Nope, no chance of a PC saver working on PS2 I'm afraid. But to be honest, there's not really any need for one. If your PS2 is on, it's likely to be either playing a game, or playing a DVD - the screen is rarely showint one fixed image long enough to warrant one. With PC's it's different, as they are often left on unattended for lonf periods of time.

The Amiga CDTV had a very flash screen saver on it, but that was rarely utilised either. Even my dedicated Sony DVD player has a screen saver, but it never appears, simply because if the machine is on, it's in use; if it isn't in use, it's not switched on anyway! :-)

A very good plan!
I bought series one on video, because at the time I wasn`t sure about the DVD on PS2. However, I am correcting that for series 2!

As for the latest box, it has 4 episodes, and quite a few extra features. I have been unable to use one of the discs as I said, but it apparently has a PC screen saver on it. I was hoping it would work on PS2 as well, but it does definitely say PS2. I will see what happens when I change it. What do you reckon? Would a PC screen saver work on PS2?

Not sure exactly when it was... season 2 seems so long ago already. But there were a few moments in several episodes, including several between Chiana and D'Argo. I would imagine it probably is down to violence though, as you say.

I will definitely be buying it though - I have them all, and plan to keep buying. I would normally have had it pre-ordered from somewhere on the web, but I'm trying not to use the credit cards at the moment because of the holiday coming up. I'll probably get it in town this weekend.

Was it one of those two episode? Or was it earlier on in the season?

Very true. I was quite stunned during her first appearence. Anyway, back to the real world :-)

Oh, except on more thing, are you going to buy this DVD? I remember you saying that you had bought other DVDs of Farscape.

The disc contains Home on the Remains and Picture if you will. I have never seen picture if you will, but I can`t imagine how Home on the Remains would include that.

Unfortunately I think the 18 will be there due to violence or blood or something. You can still hope for it though Wookiee! (Personally I`m more of a Chiana man myself :-) )

Ooh... wasn't there a bit of 'intimacy' between John and Aeryn early in season 2? Maybe they left that unedited, whereas BBC2 would obviously hack it out.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
