"I cant do my Homework..."

I was on a trip with my P.E Sports Team when we were studying the work so I haven't got a clue how to work it out.

I just need to know how to work it out, not the actual answers.

Heres the first question :

An oven is supplied with 3kw of power, it transfers 2400J/s as useful energy. What is it's efficiency (as a decimal and a percentage)?

Could someone tell me how to work out a question like this? Once I know how to do the first question I should be able to do all of the others.

efficiency = useful energy output x 100
.................. total energy input
