Lots of games are based on modern day things and you know basically what everything in a game does. BUt how about if a publisher made a game that was based around the medival times!
It would be like a demo with lots of different types of games on it to choose except there not demos theyre full games.
At the main menu you can pick RPG where you start of as a peasant and you must prove yourself worthy of a knight somehow and eventually become king!
THere could be a simulator mode where you create towns countries and battles set in some time in the medival times.
A multiplayer battle mode.
A medival sports mode wher you can play different sports in that time period.
Its different!!

I think it would be cool, instead of choosing a character at the beginning, you pick a century to go to, but still do the same missions, but,
1990's: easy setting
1920's: medium setting
1850's: normal setting
1810's: hard setting
you still have the same guy/gal, but your dress sense and language change.

Anyone remember Dark Sceptre back on the Spectrum? That was a classic. It was set in medieval times. You controlled a dozen or so characters, and you had to give them orders about what items to look for, who to attack. Classic stuff.
Even the game over screen was classy, it had a message:
You puny wretch,
Of vacatious brain,
To hell you are fetched,
Evil shall reign.
I never saw the winning message, the game was too hard.
