Comedy! Fighting a giant, sweet corn eating, singing Poo is arguably the most funniest thing I have ever seen and it may of not been that amazing to play but the desire to see the next verse was so compelling we had to do it. I must say funny games such as Conker should be more regular in the future. Banjo and many other games do have the hint of comedy such as when Kazzoie replies to one of the games many characters saying, “you just made that up didn’t you”.
Comedy is great but should be confined to individual games as if Zelda was filled with swear words and references of a sexual nature then the game wouldn’t have the same magical effect. It is time other developers went down this road and thanks to yet another original idea of Rare/Nintendo they might just do so and make more money than ever before.

I should of mentioned Duke Nukem and Silicon valley.
Rare made a cutesy platformer with swearing and beer to appeal to the older audience and show them that not all 'cutesy platformers' are well.. cutesy. The whole fact that the game was as surreal as it was sold the game. Comedy in a game is just a bonus. I'm not so sure people would buy a game just because they hear its funny for me gameplay is the most important followed by storyline and with it comedy.
Comedy is always good but nothing can beat good gameplay.
