Vince McMahon is once again not present at the SmackDown! tapings due to surgery last week. This has left Stephanie and Triple H in charge. Triple H does not usually attend SmackDown! events, but is helping with this one behind the scenes.
It's funny to not that in Vince's absence this week, there was no sign of Shane McMahon and the power was shifted to Triple H.
We'll keep you posted.
*shudders* HHH in charge of the WWE when Vince pops it? (although some may argue he's already running things) what a very, very scary thought.
Although saying that, he'll probably run it into the ground within two years when all his top names go elsewhere as they can't stand the fact HHH dominates virtually all RAW instead of just half of it as is the current standard.

Great. I used to see the WWE as suffering from Vince being in charge, but knew that it would pick up one day when Vince called it a day. Now I realise the WWE is doomed to a bleak future, where I seriously see NWATNA one day beating them in the ratings, with Ring Of Honor becoming the 'new ECW' (without the Hardcore)

You seriously think he won't make good use of his power as boss to get in his promo time? It's going to be Vince v Austin all over again, just without any wrestler fighting him and without it being in the slightest bit entertaining.

Yeah...it's great I know. But seriously, it's because he's a wrestler that he doesn't get on with some people. If he's out of the picture he can't carry on pushing himself to the top and give no one else a chance. Unless Steph and HHH have a little mini HHH...then there'd be trouble :D
