Anyone on here ever created anthing for mobile devices such as for browsers on phones.

Going to have to use some WML and probably WAP in my project at uni and was looking for some helpful resources and places to get started.

Found a few things but thought it might be worth asking incase I missed something worth checking out.

I made a very basic Webmail script for WML allowing me to logon and check my emails. You can use any host to store WML files, then just direct your WAP phone that way. You can use htaccess files to tell Apache to parse PHP code in WML files as well, allowing for dynamic sites and DB integration.

Yeah I did a lot of research on it a year ago, can't remember where I kept all my data. But there are many sites where it's easy to learn, get information and use online WAP and PDA emulators to check our your site or others. Some browsers can view WAP sites. Should I find my research tomorrow I'll be sure to mention it. IT was really pretty interesting a pity it's never really taken off, well in my eyes atleast. Still I'll be making a few WAP/PDA sites in the upcoming months.

Ahhh, WAP. I made my own small home page a few years ago, the hosting was provided free but I can't remember by whom.

I didn't have net access at the time, but W3 schools as always has a comprehensive section of WAP. I used an (Amiga!) magazine tutorial series to get me started, all it was were four pages, the home page with 3 links and a b&w pic, and very brief text sections on the other trhree. More of an experiment really.
