Well, it is quite hard to say really. Between bits of mediocre acting, it was gruesome, terrifying and many other things. The whole idea of a sick movie director forced regular people to find horrible ways to torture themselves is horrible and really scary. I got it on pirate copy (ooooh, illegal etc.) and while the picture wasn't great, it probably added to the atmosphere. I watched it alone in my room on my PS2 and I was literally scared to death. Let's face it, the acting was, in parts, disgraceful, but mostly it was alright and the story was weak but overall I loved it. I enjoyed every moment of it, even the gut-wrenching digusting bits and the below-average acting, and I would recommend it to anyone with a strong stomach and a reason to be scared senseless.
Overall, I'd rate it 8.5/10 and if you are over 18, you should see it now. No actually, you should saw it now. See how I did that, see?.....
