My "Which mobile phone to get" topic ages ago sparked the question:

"Do I get the Sony Ericsson K700i or the Nokia something-or-other?"



Well, I got the K700i, and it's arrived just now. So meh!!!

I suggest you go into a Carphone Warehouse or Phones 4 U and ask to play with them both. The V80 is pretty much a 'marmite-phone' - you'll either love it or hate it.

I loved it before I got hold of it, then I quickly got bored of it. All the features are average compared to competitors, some are even truly crap (ooh look, you can take landscape photos - Wow! they're actually worse quality than the standard photos).

Try before you buy. Really. I'm not saying it's an awful phone, but looks can be deceiving - and this phone is nowhere near as good as it appears.

Oooooooh, I don't know what to get now...

The S700i or the V80?

The V80 looks so much nicer, and I'm shallow like that.

Yup, the only better feature is the camera on the S700i is 1.3mp.

I think the S700i is a cut down version of the K700i :)

Is it? Bloody hell, never knew.

I expect most people would go for the s700i if it didnt cost nearly twice as much...

I'd still go for a S700i over a K700i. Is the 6230 the one in the ads with those 3 guys watch the F1 clip? I don't like that much.

You've made the right choice, the screen on the K 700i is leagues ahead of that on the 6230.

I'm not a woman though :P
