Would Triple H be the same super heel if he hadn't torn his leg muscle (was it a quadracep?) Who knows?
Would someone like Benoit be anywhere near as popular if he hadn't had his accident?
Who knows?

The great shame about Austin is that by the time he reached his popularity peak injuries had slowed him down. His in-ring peak had come years before when he was a nobody in WCW.
On the subject of all-time favourites mine would be either The Dynamite Kid, although he too was hit badly by injuries by the time he made his name or Jerry Lynn, who even at the age of 42 can still go with the best TNA's X-Division has to offer.
Now- No-one. Wrestling has sucked big time in the last couple of years.
All Time
Steve Austin. Sure he was an idiot, but entertaining and his move set was class.

Why not do both?
Smackdown = Guerrero.
On SmackDown!, I would have to say Carlito Caribbean Cool, who has done a great job so far and is one of the top heels on SmackDown!.
