How old do you have to be to have a Paypal account. Its just I'm thinking of confirming mine (so I can use it) but I can't remember if I lied about my age when signing up

Thanks, I thought so. I'm sixteen and want to build a website involving paypal but I couldn't remember what age I entered when creating it. I thought I typed 16 but couldn't remember. Thanks
Ps: Do you know in the ebay terms it says you can use the website if your under 18 and accompinied by an adult. Just thought that was the most stupid term I've ever heard for a website, as its so easy to check

I verified mine and I'm 17.
You legally need to be 16 to use Paypal alone I think, but 18 to use it for eBay.
I still use my now-verified paypal account for eBay with no trouble, though.

My paypal account is linked to my bank account, you don't need a credit card, you might need a switch card though. can't remember, it's a while since I set it up.

Ok thanks I think. You can verify your account in lots of different ways and a credit card is just one. Lets hope I don't get two men knocking at the door who finish eachothers sentences (the Ebay brothers)

I think you have to be old enough to have a credit card, otherwise there is no way of removing funds from your account. At least, I think that's the case.
