My sister's (yes hers, not mine) keeps encountering an error which says:

"The application has crashed. The application will now be terminated"

Anyone got any clues on how to fix this or what needs doing let me know please.

Thanks

It looks quite nice visually. Dont think there's much different game wise though.

Just another waste of time.

No probs. Should be there somewhere... Is Sims2 even out? Thank god it passed me by. I'm assuming its the same object system as the previous incarnations of Sims.

I'm guessing the location should be c:/maxis/Sims2/[custom folder]

I'll root it out later.

Thanks bud.

Errm if she has a dig around in the Sims folder, there should be a folder for custom stuff. I cant remember exactly where it is but its there somewhere. And the easiest thing to do is move the things somewhere else on the Hard-drive, to try and isolate the offending piece. Or you can just move/delete them all. Should work then...

She said something about installing the custom stuff from the website and it being buggy since then.

Any idea how to remove the custom stuff?

I got that from installing some custom stuff, textures, houses etc. One of them probably is buggy, causing the game to crash. Does it happen when any house is selected or is it just one? Else I suggest a re-install...

Apparently there is a bug tester thing on the official site you can download, apart from that i'm out of ideas.

Unless you try planting the disc in a plant pot for a few days with occasional watering.

None whatsoever, which is baffling.

Oh and apparently it happens when you make a family and try and move them into a house. Always at that moment.
