i am using bt yahoo broadband, which works with ps2 online gaming. i have recently bought the needed stuff to put it online, plugged it all in and so on. but when it comes to making a connection, or testing the connection, it complains there is something wrong with the dns. i look in the part where it says what went wrong and it says, dns bla bla could not connect to server(2) or something like that.
i am connecting straight from ps2, network adapter, cable, router, cable, microfilter and then to the phonline.

any ideas?

ok, ive given up on my old modem/router because it's stupid, now im gonna get a different one, a more simple and relaxing one, does anyone know of such a device that would go straight from ps2, network cable, MODEM, modem to phone line and then phone line. because i have paid quite a bit and am not willing to give up nowwww

Try the official playstation forums,www.playstation.com - one there dedicated to network gaming and its more likely someone there has experienced the same problem.

Is it the DNAS bit it fails at?

If so its eaither because you are using a copied version of a game or you've not entered the details from the PS2 and network adapter correctly.

If its your connection then try plugging it straight from the modem into the PS2.
