First and foremost, I must apologise. This is my first attempt at human communications and, as such, I may resort to painful clichés that I have found to be well known expressions. Considering the unparalleled diversity in knowledge you people have regarding your own language, I assumed that this approach would be easy to understand for the majority. Or, if you didn’t quite get that, some of you talk good, and some of you don’t, so I’ll speak simple.

Let me introduce myself. Beyond all edge of reason and the vast expanses of your universe, past the borders of your imagination and realms of your perspective, I sit alone.

Before I continue, I really should clarify that last part – I’m not actually sitting. I have nothing to sit on, nor do I have the ability to sit. You may immediately imagine me as human, but that assumption neatly proves the limits of your mind. But enough introduction; to the point.

Your environment, while home, is a disease upon your existence. I believe you call it society. It’s a box. It restricts you; closes you in. Its greatest evil is that it prevents you from identifying it by its very principle, and inevitably, you become inwardly destructive.

It’s not your fault. I for one lay the blame at the feet of the loose cannon who created the foundations for all of this. But that's another story I don't wish to go into. I rather like your version, anyway.

I have decided that it is time for you to become self aware. You probably think you are already, but you’re not. In “time” (I must praise you for this wonderful analogy), I will open your box, and you will join with the remaining realms of existence – I feel it’s somewhat owed to you given the injustices done to your people. I think you’ll quite enjoy it. The universe and all subsequent directories are yours. Please drive safely, and do not leave your seat until the ride has come to a complete stop.

Mmm ... drifty, expansive.

I feel small and sad. Then I felt aroused at the "I will open your box" bit...then I felt small again, which made me sad.

Yes there is, it is one of the single most frustrating traits in English Literature.

Mav's vaguness provoked thought, which means ambiguity... which means good.

Ambiguity is such a marvelous thing!

During my short story course I was told that ambiguity is good but vagueness is terrible. There is such a thin line.
