Not really sure if something's up with my Norton Firewall, but I've tried connecting with SmartFTP plenty but doesn't seem to connect.
SmartFTP is permitted in the program control, so not sure why it won't connect. The XP firewall doesn't make a difference when turned off, it'll only connect when Norton Firewall gets disabled..
Any ideas?!
Thankee. :)

Never had an issue with NIS2004Pro
Opened up TCP ports for BitTorrent and woosh!;)
As for the FTP issue. Try connecting using Passive FTP
Other than that, there is something along the lines of opening the ports, but you'd have to find out what ports your FTP program is using.
Just wondering if there is any way round this at all?
I bought a router soon after though, which, obviously, had a built-in firewall... Much, much better.
Go do something similiar.
