Having just purchased a beautiful Coolermaster Centurion 5. 'Tis such a beautiful case... Nice and simple, yet so stylish and, dare I say, cheap.

Check it out: http://www.coolermaster.com

Now, pretty as it is, I can't seem to find that nice little Centurion window. However, I'd like one. And while I'm about it, why not bung in a pair of exhaust fans in the top, maybe a couple of intakes around the AGP / PCI slots?

Now, I know - roughly - how to go about this. But it'll be my first mod. So, as n00b, is it worth doing it? How easy is it? Will I go wrong?

So basically I'll be adding a side window and 4 fan holes.

What equipment / materials will I need?

I happen to have a pair of spare cases, a Jeantech Phong case and my old Dell case. Much to practice on. Plus I already have most of the tools already...

I have a modded case. It's just that you have a nice case and have no experience, so I tend to think it won't be quite as nice when you are finished with it. And it is the wrong answer to your problem.

Choose a diameter, choose an arbor and away you go. Use a bit of wd-40 when you are cutting to lube the cut though.

Only if you have the tools already. It is also less effective. And it won't be cheaper if you end up needing a new case.

Aero 7 is poor. Get a Thermalright and a decent fan and you won't need to cut up your case.

CPU.

Size of blowhole depends on the airflow and quietness you want, more airflow and less noise = 120mm.
