I'd love to say I'm surprised at this, but frankly I'm not. Free and fair elections? If any other nation in the world tried this (and Belarus did try over the weekend), there'd be...well, indifference and a feeling that it's what one should expect from foreign types. As it's happening in America, I suspect we'll all do our best to pretend it's not really happening.

It's horrific, isn't it? I've never been to the USA, but can they really be thick enough to believe everything they are a fair democracy?

Yeah, but he accepted the Senate's deceison or something.

I studied American politics last year, it's the worst system in the world.

Here we go again, i remember the problems last time, in particular the black community who are largely democrat were not allowed to vote, same goes for those in prison, it was decided to withdraw their right to vote and it just happens that the prison community was shown to be in favout of the democrats.
George Bush is going to be the most unpopular president ever to get two terms because he's going to end up not being elected fairly in either.

Arguable perhaps that this election is even more controversial than the one in 2000

Rumour has it from a program I was watching last night that Al Gore could have been president if he'd pushed hard enough legally. Where elections are concerned, computers are a bad idea I think - just make a better version of the paper one from back in 2000, simple, if a bit late for this one.

What a mess.

I wonder what sort of groups are stooping to stealing votes?
Do you think people have become THAT anti-Bush? :-D

It really is a disgrace but who are you going to complain to?

The government in charge?

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
