I bought the system thinking it was a normal PS2. It looks just like all the rest. I bought 3 and this one is the odd ball. It doesn't play consumer games, so it does me no good.
So you purchased something but you don't even know what it is used for. More money than sense? I'm guessing that if it is a debugging kit it is more than likely used to debug games in one way or another. Maybe used for development and design of games I guess...
