Yakubu always seems to score when i watch him...so think he will get both the goals for pompey
Seeing Spurs so high in the table; Portsmouth always ready to surprise...
I was certain this would be a real cracker of a Monday night game!
Jacques Santini's post-match interview made up for it all, however (once again). Have you heard him? It's even funnier than Ranieri used to be - the Frenchman has the expression to go with it, too. :)
Spurs were lacking a great deal of creativity in their attack, yes. They got the ball into the midfield plenty of times, but couldn't do much with it, except give-away possesion. There was no consistant link-up with the strikers. No-one pushing forward to meet them. Robbie Keane and Defoe - who still hasn't learned how to pass - were always tracking-back to recieve the ball, and then getting swamped by the mass of defenders ahead of them.
It's funny... They played a very defensive game against Chelsea and held them to a 0-0 draw - and yet, I enjoyed that match! :D
> Pompey will win 1-0.
nice prediction there
> Berkovic coming off injured after 27 minutes, Berger scoring, Yakubu
> missing an open goal but scoring a genius solo effort.... oh you know
> how it goes....
Strangely accurate, bravo.
Oh the many heart attacks Pompey have given me.
The Fulham game, the Man Utd game... actually, every Pompey game involves the regular toilet break.
7:0 to Pompey
or 2:1 or 2:2
Lots of goals methinks
1-0 to pompey seems about right.
50-1 on that score with berger the scorer. I'll have some of that.
2-2 I have to agree with you mate
