Ive been trying to play Counter Strike online all day using steam but everytime I get into a server my ping goes to unbelievable heights I have a 576.0kbps ISDN Wanadoo connection and a good computer with a great graphics card and I cant understand why this is happening. I have all programs that I dont need open closed and I am currently not downloading anything. Ive been playing games online now for a while and using my connection since August and I cannot work out why this is happening. I didnt post this in the internet forum because it isnt as popular as this one. I would really appreciate suggestions.
Afternoon thanks mate. You were right it said I had pre loaded Half Life 2 last week but they must have added something to the game so its being preloaded again. That was the problem, sorry meant ADSL. Thanks guys appreciate.
