First of all we need a brand image. For all of you that saw the MIST banner vote 'YES! I loved it - bring it back' or vote NO! It sucked - redesign it'
You'll have to be quick 'cos it is mentioned in the new mag (hope I don't get into trouble for that).
I personally really liked it.
After we agree on that issue then we can move on to advertising it...

Good idea. When I designed the banner I thought about after people clicked on it and thought about how different the actual link looks compared to the banner. I agree a uniform look is best but I think we have to take into consideration it is part of th SR Network so branding comes into it as well.
In the 'who's here' topic I said about a MIST website - well that would be branded in the MIST look.

I can have a go at redesgining it but that was the first attempt and sometines that is the best. It was a very instintual.
The mag is in its last week and I know the MIST is being advertised. I guess once it is in print that could set it in stone. It is better for the first time it is seen to be the brand of the product. Then after a couple of years at least change it if need be.
The best thing to do it to lobby Tony!!!!!
I hope I don't get into trouble for this!!
It is good enough to stay. But you could design a new one or maybe a logo to work alongside the banner.
If you design a new one we can see what looks better.
What you think?
