Mine would be the N64. Although I own a PSone, IMPORT Dreamcast and a PS2 that broke down, I prefer my N64 from them all.
SUPER MARIO 64:
Super Mario 64 changed the way many people thought about platformers, when it first came out. And it still rock now as a game.
GOLDENEYE 007 64:
To lots of people it is one of the best first - person shooters of all time, and has a great multiplayer option.
ISS 98:
This game doesn't have all the official players names but is great fun to play and I prefer it to any FIFA game out there. Any ISS game rules!
ZELDA MAJORAS MASK:
This is one of my all time favourites and one of my personal best. ZELDA!! This game has lots of sword fighting, exploring and enough time travelling to give Link permanent jet lag. And a great sequel to the Ocarina of time.
CONKER's BAD FUR DAY:
This is one of newest games out for the Nintendo 64 and developed by Rare I think it is one of their best games. It has outstanding graphics great gameplay if not a little bit on the easy side (although I'd say that the Spooky level was the hardest for me) and the game being absolutely hilarious!!
What would yours be?
Mario 64
Look at that, little Mario running round in full 3D. Gaming Heaven. Graphically sound. Yeah....
Conker's BFD
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...Yeah...Cash Prizes.
Mario Tennis
Look at that, Little Mario running round in full 3D playing tennis with his friends.
Mario Golf
Look at that, little Mario running round in full 3D playing Golf with his girlfriend!
Banjo-Tooie
Spot on.
Virtua Tennis
Awe-some....:D Seriously good though, ace arcade conversion.
DOA2
Ooh, look that bird just punched the fat guy through the wooden wall....heh.
Soul Calibur
Still Unbeaten?...I think so.
Street Fighter II Turbo
Shoryuken.....Hadoken.....Haitupensukayaku...Heh.
Toe Jam and Earl
Just Crusin' Heh, and hey, lots of presents, didn't is make your childhood complete?!
Crazy Taxi
It's time to make some Crazy Money
Skies of Arcadia
Great, Superb, Sound, Spot On, Magic, Stupendous. Haven't played it yet.
There you go, my favourite games and why.
(Was that what they asked for?)
Dunno.
Game
SUPER BOMBERMAN (SNES): This game had the most addictive four player ever!
TONY HAWKS 1 (DC): This game had mastered the "just one more go" addiction with its tight 2 minute time limit, amazinlgy easy control system and a good soundtrack!
BLACK AND WHITE (PC): Revolutionised the 'God' genre. A classic without a shadow of a doubt.
MSR (DC): Redefined the driving genre. A whole new idea with the Kudos system, great handling, great soundtrack and great graphics!
GOLDENEYE (N64): Obvious really.......
GP2 (PC): When it was released (1994) it was the most realistic, most accurate GP there is, now superceded by GP3 of course. In my opinion, the second one is better though....
SUPER MARIO 64 (N64) - Completley re-wrote the platfrom genre and is one of the most enjoyable games ever made!!
ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME (N64) - Quite possibly the best game ever created, an absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word!!
GOLDENEYE (N64) - Revolutionised FPS's. The best use of a film license ever and one of the most addictive games around. Looks a bit dated now but the magic remains the same!!
JEDI KNIGHT DARK FORCES II (PC) - My favourite Star Wars game and one of the best. Everything about this had quality and as a FPS it stood out from the crowd and held its own against the very best!!
GRAN TURISMO 2 (PSOne) - The best driving experience ever. Improves on the previous in every way, realistic, addictive and a million and one things to do!!
TONY HAWKS (PSOne) - One of the first games to introduce complete environmental interaction. An absolute joy to play and one of the best games I have!!
SHENMUE (DC) - Another masterpiece. Huge areas to explore, complete freedom, hundreds of tasks and mini games and a pleasure to play!!
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This was a truly amazing game, the first of its size and playability to appear. It had amazing graphics, a great plot, and was so well made!
MechWarrior
Again, this was a new type of game when it came out, and was pretty engrossing. A bit streched out series now though.
Rogue squadron
Until this game, SW games were rubbish, this is the best flying sim i've ever played.
Goldeneye
Need I say anything? The best shooter ever, and made by Rare. Nuff said
The ones I do not own:
starfighter
A great game, nearly as good as Rogue squadron
Black and White
A whole new genre. Completely original, addictive, great 'storyline', and much more
Darkness
Mine would be the N64. Although I own a PSone, IMPORT Dreamcast and a PS2 that broke down, I prefer my N64 from them all.
