So it looks as though the PS3 suffers from the same issue as the Xbox360, in that not all games are backward compatible. However, this isn't as bad as the situation with the 360, as around 8,000 games are still compatible, although some have FMV or graphical issues.

Do you get the impression that when it says "No major problems for this title" it's because nobody has got around reporting their findings yet?
I found it very pathetic that they waited until after the launch to admit it, yet before it they were all "Oh yeah! Every PS1 & PS2 game will work!"...
I gues that's Sony for you though. At least Microsoft pointed out that only a percentage of games would work from the off, with updates to follow.
