The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
This thread is actually about spam e-mails.
At least 40% of the e-mails I receive each day are spam, offering me everything from discounts on Internet brides, to toasted cheese sandwiches, to Viagra!
I’m 20-years old. I don’t have any erective dysfunctions…yet. So why must I have some other guys dysfunctioning wang forced into my inbox?
Where do these people get my e-mail address from? I’m very careful with who I give it to. Does SR sell them to the highest bidder in order to make their real money? Are they indeed a global e-mail address-selling site posing as a games retailer? I have my suspicions.
Oh and by the by. You could at least sell it on to someone who is going to send me something vaguely useable. How disappointed was I to find I had to wait until only recently to receive my first bit of porn spam.
What really worries me though? What really makes me cringe when I receive that e-mail selling a toy that promises me multiple vaginal orgasms, “because hey! You deserve it girlfriend”?
It is that my Grandma, (who has been e-mailing like a pro for a year now), could be receiving the same thing! Hell, she could be sending it out!
End of rant(ish) thing.

a-boom-boom
Slightly off topic but if you wanna avoid all that spam stuff, just get a Yahoo email account. Hotmail is the daddy of all that viagra/mortgage/xxx webcam (etc) stuff...threw mine away ages ago.
Never again.

The ironic thing is that Hotmail has the best spam filter of them all.
I simply block sender and all emails ending in [whatever] I only get about 2 a day now.
My ntl account gets on average about 40 emails a day.Despite blocking over a hundred senders through Outlook express.
