Short but very sweet. Content is nothing less then expected from yourself.

When I started reading it I didn't know how it would continue or end, but that was, as pb said, a very original piece.

And for some reason, I know it's a simple line, but I liked this a lot:

"the crack of the hammer on the block as he was condemned to six months"

I loved the way that everything was rather mysterious and knotty up until the last two or three paragraphs, and then slowly things untangled bit by bit. Really kept you eager to continue.

Yet another success, mate, and I can see you regaining top spot in the GAD Hall of Fame very soon...

SSC = Short Story Competition.
Look in the thread called "Short Story Competition 11" and you'll see all about it.

Basically, someone's the judge (me, this time) and they choose a topic for people to write about. I'll pick the best story, and whoever wrote it comes up with the topic for the next competition.
Keep the creative juices flowing.

What does this 'SSC' mean? There are four SSC11s and I don't quite understand why.
