Anyone here ever used Boots to print off stuff onto photographic sheets from their digicam? I've tried their website, but it's such a horrible mess. I've got an 128Mb MMC card - can I just put that in the machine and get photo-quality pictures back?

Yes. Most, if not all, booths support every type of media card.

And yes, it is cheaper and better to get them processed properly, but that's what these booths are all about - convenience. Stick the card in, select the pictures you want printing, pay and pick up prints. Done.

It actually often works out cheaper to get them printed at Boots or similar than doing it yourself with a photo printer and 6x4 photo paper. I just got 100 photos printed at 6x4 for £12.50. I don't think I would have even got 100 sheets of photo paper for that price, let alone the ink - plus I don't have a photo quality printer.

Just buy a printer and some glossy sheets.
Then you can have hours of fun.

The booths aren't any different in Boots but to get them done normally (i.e give them your memory cards) they tend to be higher quality than the Kodak booths.

Yup, they're pretty decent if you want the prints in a rush.

Used the Kodak booths in the states a few times - I'd assume the Boot's ones would be no different.
