So my broadband connection is out for a week or more. Apparently that's the earliest NTL can come round and make our phoneline, television and internet work again. Television going is fine, but phone and internet - for a whole week!?!? Why can't they do it? What a bunch of morons. Not only is it affecting my work (I had to make an hour train journey today just to use a non-dialup internet connection), but it also means I can't play CounterStrike!!! Luckily my boss played me at Call of Duty, which is now next on my wishlist. Another game to get whupped at.

They're filling in the hole today. Soil went back in yesterday, today is tarmac time. It'll be nice and solid by Monday...when the people from NTL are coming to dig it up again to fix the cable!!! They both know this is happening, yet can't seem to communicate. Retards.
