"SD Card stuck in the card reader - How do I get it out?"

Hello

Any help here will be gratefully received

I put an SD card in my PC's reader, could access it OK and write to it, problem came when I tried to remove the card - it won't budge!

I've tried the eject function from the PC icon, but that won't work!

Can I get it out or have I now wrecked my card and card reader?

Forget the tweezers, get long nosed pliers.

Prod it further in; the mechanical release should pop it back out.

Could always take the thing apart... dunno if that would solve anything tho...

How the hell did it get stuck?? On my reader, the card doesn't go all the way in so there's something to grab onto.

If the tweezers method doesn't work, you may be screwed.

I thought we'd seen the last of this with the demise of floppies. Buy or borrow a pair of tweezers - not pliers - and try pulling it out gently.

Is there no button to push or gap to pull it out at all?
