i mean it is so depressing when you get caught in a downpour and you get back into your house soaking wet.great fun eh NO!!
The rain rocks! Beautiful girls with wet hair after the awkward wet-walk to college. Wonderful!
Speaking of that actually i was waiting for a bus the other day and there was a couple of old women nattering on about something until they finally came onto the subject of weather complaining about how cold it was and what a horrible wet summer we had and i felt like giving them each a good slap.
Firstly 8 degrees (which is what it said it was up on the bank display thingy they have, which also shows the time and stuff) is not cold, now -20 degrees, which is what it was in Canada when i was there is cold, an English autumn is a flipping heatwave compared to what a Canadian winter is like.
Secondly compare the weather we're having right now to what the people in Florida are getting as a fourth hurricane prepares to smash into it. Now given the choice between a bit of drizzle here in England compared to 150mph winds, torrential rain, houses flying everywhere etc i think i'd choose the good old dull English weather anyday.
As the old people infront of me probably love to say - you don't know how good you have it.

It makes me want to go up to my room, make a rope from my duvet cover, tie one end to the top of the banister, then throw myself over the edge and choke to death.
